The beautiful village church, part of our National network of Parish Churches in Hampshire, is tucked away beside the Manor and behind the Old Rectory. The church is open each day and an excellent guide book written by a local resident, John Isherwood, is in the church and will guide you around the building. It is some hundreds of years old, although extensively restored in the 19th Century, is well worth a look. Anyone is welcome at any time to visit, sit quietly and enjoy the surroundings.
There is a regular pattern of services, also advertised in the Village News each month:
1st Sunday 10.00am Morning Prayer
2nd Sunday 10.00am Family Service
3rd Sunday 08.30am Holy Communion, Book of Common Prayer
4th Sunday 10.00am Holy Communion, Common Worship, with hymns
5th Sunday 10.00am Songs of Praise
The church is also available to all villagers for weddings and blessings, and for baptisms and funerals. There are special services throughout the year - at Christmas and Easter, Harvest and Remembrance.
